The ColdShower Story

During the late summer months of 2022, the ColdShower was born. Two lifelong friends seeking ways to create, not just consume, and add value to the world. Across many brainstorming sessions, a few ideas remained constant. We both wanted to help others live a complete life through personal development and healthy-habits.

My goal is to create a community of people who share this same mission.

But Why Cold Showers?

Some good names just come at you like a ColdShower. I was already on a cold shower kick and the world was just catching on to the benefits of cold water in 2022. Why not go all-in and only take cold showers until I reach 1,000 subscribers.

I’ve since grown my cold shower practice. It’s a small habit with big rewards, that’s painstakingly easy to do yet always hard in the moment.

..Plus the name just sounds cool😎

What can you expect from my writing?

A weekly email on health, habits, and happiness; crafted around the 3 stages of a cold shower: Recharge, Refine, and Rethink. Sent every Wednesday morning. Meant to be read on the 🚽toilet🚽 in under 5 minutes.

Recharge - I share my honest take weekly on what’s filling my cup. And some weeks I spill some and I share that too.

Refine - I break down personal development ideas into multiple-part series. Typically, one topic per month.

Rethink - I ask questions to myself, the internet, or other experts in their domain. (Sometimes I break these into month-long series)
