I’m on a mission to put the “Personal” back into Personal Development
Shower thought🚿: Not for sale.
“Everybody’s got a price.” — We hear this often.
We’re administered a consistent I.V. drip of advertisements in every medium.
We sell our attention.
And we’ll do anything to buy attention.
So, What’s not for sale?
The ColdShower reached a milestone this morning — 100 newsletters.
I’m proud of what it’s become.
I’m proud of my improvement as a writer.
And I’m forever grateful to the ~250 of you that come back each Wednesday.
My values are NOT for sale.
Why I show up each week, is NOT for sale.
My mission, is NOT for sale.
And my voice, is most certainly NOT for sale.
This newsletter will grow.
Slowly, at the pace it needs to.
Advertisers will come. Offers will present themselves.
I’ll stick to what I’m doing.
In a world that’s negotiable, what are you willing to “walk-away” from?

It is so true that "we become our thoughts". Writing without worry is what I call "My Journal". It started as a kid in my little locked up Diary for no one to read . Love that you hit 100 and that yours is helping so many people along the way!! Cento is 100 in Italian:)
Congratulations, Jonathan on this milestone and for sharing your truth and vulnerabilities.
