ColdShower #94🥶🚿 I tried a sensory deprivation tank

Shower thought🚿: The Monster Under the Sheets.
Lock the door.
Close the pod.
Wade into,
the waters of your thoughts.
Look around.
Take a peak.
Step into,
the veiled mystique.
Behind the curtain.
Under the sheet.
What I found,
my fear is me.
I sat alone in my thoughts for 60-minutes Saturday evening.
This is what came out of it.
Floating in a sensory deprivation tank is both a physical & mental experience.
Physically, I wanted to see how it would aid muscle recovery.
Mentally, I wanted to explore my mind.
I wanted to check every corner, go into all the rooms, open all the drawers.
I’m happy to report I like what I found (mostly).
I found a sense of peace with myself.
I found a love for myself.
And I found fear. Not overwhelming fear, but a small, nagging manifestation.
I stared down the fear. I sat with it. I asked it to reveal itself.
Beneath the fear, was just me.
Float on.

THANK YOU for making it to the end!
The ColdShower: Weekly ideas for better health, habits, and happiness.
How do I verify if the acct I made is finished?
Great idea for people who can't float on their own and without stimuli around so thoughts are more contained:) Glad you worked through your fear:)
