I’m on a mission to put the “Personal” back into Personal Development
Shower thought🚿: Mastering your Momentum
Daily.
Each day, another shot.
Another chance at becoming the person we want to be.
Daily — every day.
Not just some days.
Not just when we feel good about it.
Momentum is movement.
p=mv (mass * velocity)
Ride its rhythm.
………………………………………………………………..
Life has a way of knocking you off your beat.
Of bringing you out of sync.
The beat of the drum is steadfast.
March forward, master your momentum.

Is it a well or a faucet?
The science on willpower is mixed.
For years, science agreed on Ego-Depletion
Meaning willpower was a limited resource — a finite amount of energy that we can deplete, hampering our self-control.
Now, science is shifting.
We’re coming to believe willpower acts more like an emotion.
An emotion we can acknowledge and a lack there-of we can understand as temporary.
i.e. The willpower well is always running.
We control the knobs.
We turn the faucet on/off.

**Warning — Not for the faint of heart**
I’ve been taking consistent Cold-ONLY showers for over 2 years.
It’s gotten to the point where I’m mostly indifferent towards them.
Do I like them — mostly no. But they are bearable.. and on a hot day even enjoyable.
That is NOT the case in the morning.
A morning cold shower is a punch in the face.
If you can bear it, almost nothing will hurt you throughout your day.
Suffering is the key joy; and Clarity is a morning ColdShower.
Do this and watch your life change.
